  • Returns must be submitted within 90 days (or 365 if you are a DSW VIP elite member) following purchase.
  • DSW’s exchange method is predicated on refunding you for the item you’re returning and billing you for the item you’re getting. Items purchased with PayPal should be exchanged in-store since customer service professionals are not permitted to go in to your PayPal account and initiate a new transaction.
  • The firm will handle your return or exchange request and give a refund within seven to ten business days.

  • Certain items at DSW are labelled “FINAL SALE.” FINAL SALE merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.
  • Fragrances, dry shampoos, nail polish, facial care products, alcohol products, rechargeable batteries, and USB rechargeable devices (“Specialty Products”) are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or the original packing or seal has been destroyed or removed.
  • Unopened Specialty Products in their original box with the seal intact may be returned to any DSW store.
  • Specialty Products are not returnable to dsw.com.
  • DSW Return Policy has the right, regardless of receipt, to prohibit returns or exchanges.
  • VIP DSW Return Policy Elite members may return items for up to 365 days from the date of purchase (for all purchases made after April 30, 2018).

DSW.COM ACCEPTS RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

  • Begin your return or exchange by entering your order number and email address here.
  • In the online portal, indicate the item you want to return or exchange and pick the reason.
  • Drop off at any FedEx facility with a prepaid mailing label*.
  • If your order was eligible for free returns, you may use this label to return your purchases at no extra cost.
  • If your order was not eligible for free returns, you can still use this label to return your item. To offset shipping costs, a $8.50 charge will be withheld from your refund.
  • After you send off your return or exchange at FedEx, you will get an email with tracking information.

  • Merchandise purchased on dsw.com may be returned to a DSW store, but it cannot be returned to dsw.com.

EXCHANGES THROUGH THE ONLINE PORTAL

If you opt to swap your item using the online portal, your exchanged item will be mailed to you after DSW receives confirmation that your exchange was delivered to FedEx. When your new item is dispatched, you will not be charged for shipping and will receive confirmation with tracking information.

Once DSW receives notification that FedEx has received your return shipment, your replaced goods will be delivered to you. If you do not return the exchanged product unworn, in its original packaging, and with the original sales receipt or shipping invoice, you will be charged for both the original purchase and the exchange.

Exchanges may only be done if you want to buy the identical item in a different size or colour. If you want to swap for a different item, simply follow the returns process and place a new order.

*Prepaid labels are allowed in most places.
