Bears sign ex-Jets cornerback to reserve/future contract

Jackson was one of several Jets who saw their practice squad contracts expire earlier this week.

Jackson began his career with New York as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska in 2020.

He made six starts and 13 appearances for Gang Green as a rookie, tallying 28 tackles, one TFL and two defended passes.

Jackson enjoyed far less playing time in 2021.

He didn’t make his season debut until Week 17.

He played just five special teams snaps in New York’s loss to the Buccaneers after spending the season on the practice squad.
