Duke vs. Florida State score: Seminoles hang on to upset No. 6 Blue Devils in overtime thriller

Florida State dominated the offensive glass in the upset and gained sole possession of second place in the ACC

RayQuan Evans hit two free throws with 12.3 seconds left in overtime to give the Seminoles a 79-78 win against No. 6 Duke on Tuesday.

It was the Seminoles' fourth straight win, which might signal that Leonard Hamilton's team is rounding into the shape predicted by preseason Associated Press Top 25 voters.

The Blue Devils outshot the Seminoles from the field, but Florida State got more second and third opportunities on the offensive glass.

Due to offensive rebounds and turnovers, Florida State had 18 more field goal attempts.

With about four and a half minutes left, the Seminoles led by eight, but Paolo Banchero led a Blue Devil comeback, scoring or assisted on 11 of Duke's final 12 points.

With 30.3 seconds left, Mark Williams dunks a lob from Banchero to give Duke a two-point lead. With 1.4 seconds remaining, RayQuan Evans soared a layup high off the rim to force OT.
