vs Arsenal F.C.
Arsenal have a 'fantastic opportunity' to win a trophy this season, according to Chelsea icon Ashley Cole, ahead of their Carabao Cup semi-final against Liverpool.
Liverpool, on the other hand, is expected to have 'a little bit too much' over the two legs, according to the former England defender.
Chelsea will now await the winner of the Arsenal-Liverpool semi-final after defeating Tottenham and securing a spot in the final at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday.
Arsenal will face Liverpool at Anfield on Thursday night to determine who will face Chelsea at Wembley on February 27.
The first leg, which had been postponed owing to the Covid-19 outbreak, will now take place a week later than expected.
"I think Liverpool have maybe a little bit too much for Arsenal," Cole told Sky Sports.
"I understand they'll be without [Sadio] Mane and [Mohamed] Salah, but I just think it'll be too much."
"It'll be a fantastic game, to be honest, a fascinating game." They travelled to Nottingham Forest and fared poorly.
"This will be a fantastic opportunity for them to make a final push to get back to where they believe they belong." They should be, too.
"But, once again, you're up against a really tough Liverpool team."
